05 May Lorraine Settles Into the Au Pair Experience Quickly and Travels Extensively

I was very happy to have found Au Pair Paris. I had always wanted to experience life in another country while working with children. Finding Au Pair Paris was a dream come true. Susan and Sylvie were very efficient in making sure I had all the documentation needed, taken all the necessary steps at the proper times and making the process very smooth and easy.
As for my experience in Paris, there aren’t enough words to express it. Although it was a little difficult to move my entire life to a foreign country at first, I found myself becoming very settled in the culture quickly. There are so many things to experience in Paris from all the tourist attractions to taking personal trips to gardens, museums and even to other countries.
I was fortunate enough to visit Switzerland (Bern, Lucerne and Interlaken), the south of France (Nice and Cannes), Rome, Italy, and Brussels, Belgium. I utilized Polyglot, a Meetup to exchange languages, meet locals, and take trips across Europe at discount prices. This helped me to get over my fear of speaking with locals and meeting new friends, allowing me to settle into my new home. Plus Au Pair Paris Meetups were great for meeting fellow Americans experiencing a new journey. Living in France is a great experience and you won’t want to pass on the opportunity Au Pair Paris can give you.
Au Pair Paris really helped me out last year. I had rough patches and great adventures but I wouldn’t have taken it back for all the money in the world.
