We held our fall gathering for all new au pairs on a sunny Sunday afternoon in late September. It took place at a friend’s lovely 18th century home just a few blocks from the Louvre. We had previously met in smaller groups but took this opportunity for everyone to introduce themselves, share early experiences and describe what they are hoping to discover and explore in Paris.
There were au pairs from 23 states, Canada, the UK and Australia. And, for the first time, in addition to Paris, we have host families in Versailles. Also with us were former au pairs who were able to offer advice and suggestions. We feel very fortunate to be working with a new amazing, smart, talented and dedicated group of individuals.
